Church Appeal 2005
Work has commenced on Phase II of the restoration of the church. Damp and damaged plaster in the interior has been removed and re-rendered. The great east window, which is the village war memorial, is to be cleaned, and repairs to the stonework undertaken. Work on the chancel floor has been completed. The whole church is then to be redecorated. The cost of this Phase is around £20,000 and we urgently need donations to make sure that we hand this beautiful building on to future generations in good order. Perhaps our friends and relations who have left the village to live abroad would like to help us with our work. Any contributions would, of course, be very gratefully received.
