Fly Tipping is becoming an all too common event around the village lanes.
(the photograph to the right is but a typical example). It is all the more
surprising to see when you consider that Fenland District Council (FDC) provides
fee tipping at its site in Weasenham Lane. FDC has an e-mail address for reporting

Care & Repair
Care & Repair is an independent not for profit home improvement agency
supported by the Government, Breckland District Council, Fenland
District Council, the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West
Norfolk, and a range of other organisations. They are currently seeking
to expand their profile in the Fenland area.
Care and Repair helps the following homeowners and private tenants:
older people - aged 60 years or over,
disabled people, and
people on means-tested benefits.
They are able to help by:
advising on repairing, improving and adapting homes,
helping to raise money for the work required,
helping with the completion of grant or loan applications,
obtaining quotes for the work from reliable contractors,
supervising building contracts,
checking you are getting all your state benefits,
giving general home energy efficiency advice, and
referring you to other organisations who may be able to help you.
