The former railway station site in Station Road is being rapidly developed by a local builder.
New houses are rising rapidly on the site where once goods trains collected
strawberries and local soft fruit for sale in the London Markets.
Repairs to Altar Tomb - April 2007
The repair work to the Altar Tomb, situated at the side of the pathway leading from
Church Road to the South church door, is complete. The estimated cost of the work
is approximately £4,000, some of which has been raised by grants. Photographs of the completed work
will be available on this site shortly.
